Apple plans to replace the current Siri interface with a more powerful conversational AI engine — internally code-named “Campos.” This upgrade goes far beyond Siri’s traditional voice-command capabilities and moves toward a chatbot experience that can:

• Understand and engage in natural conversational queries

• Support both voice and text input

• Offer real-time, generative responses similar to ChatGPT or Gemini

• Perform tasks like web search, content creation, summarization, and analysis

• Provide richer context in responses by integrating deeply with device apps and data

Instead of the short one-off responses that Siri offers today, the new chatbot will be capable of follow-up questions, context awareness, and multi-step interactions.
